ZAPI to present 800-V electrification capabilities at CONEXPO

By Michelle Froese | March 4, 2026

ZAPI GROUP will demonstrate expanded electrification capabilities for industrial and off-highway electric vehicles (EVs) at CONExpo/AGG, taking place March 3rd to 7th in Las Vegas.

As electrified construction equipment scales to larger, higher-power applications, ZAPI GROUP has developed higher-capacity dc/dc converters, inverters, electric motors, and onboard chargers designed to support 100 , 400, and 800 V lithium-ion battery architectures.

The solutions are intended to address increasing performance demands while integrating multiple utility functions within compact power electronics packages.

For motive power applications, the company will feature its third-generation high-voltage inverter (ACH3), designed with configurable control software for various traction requirements, along with a permanent magnet electric motor (IMI) that integrates a liquid-cooled inverter within the motor assembly.

In battery charging, ZAPI GROUP will present 7.2 and 22-kW liquid-cooled onboard chargers compatible with high-voltage battery systems. The 7.2-kW unit integrates a 1-kW dc/dc converter and EV charging interface within a modular design. The 22-kW system integrates a 2-kW dc/dc converter, EV charging interface, dc fast charging capability, and PLC communication.

A 22-kW bidirectional onboard charger supporting vehicle-to-grid operation, universal grid compatibility, and functional safety features will also be shown.

The group will also present a fully electric dumper proof-of-concept platform that integrates motors, inverters, and charging systems into a high-voltage battery-electric architecture. The platform demonstrates the application of integrated electrification systems in off-highway EV conversions.

ZAPI GROUP will exhibit these technologies at Booth S-83617 in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
