XLR8 America to manage nationwide charging network on Driivz platform

By Michelle Froese | March 2, 2026

Driivz, a Vontier company and software provider to electric vehicle (EV) charging operators and service providers, announced a partnership with XLR8 America, an EV Charging as a Service (CaaS) provider, to manage and optimize its charging and energy operations.

More than 5,000 charging sites will be managed on the Driivz platform to support network reliability, scalability, and operational oversight.

Through the use of Driivz’s hardware-agnostic platform, XLR8 America will gain operational visibility and system controls to manage its public charging network across hospitality venues, multi-dwelling units, hotels, casinos, quick-service restaurants, and retail locations. The platform will also support configurable monetization models tailored to different host site requirements.

XLR8 America will utilize the following capabilities within the Driivz EV charging and energy management software platform:

  • EV charging operations management: Charger status monitoring, remote diagnostics, and automated issue detection designed to improve uptime and reduce onsite service requirements.
  • Smart energy management: Load balancing and energy optimization tools to manage site-level demand, integrate onsite renewable generation and battery storage, and address grid capacity constraints.
  • Level 1 and Level 2 support services: 24/7 call center and network operations support for remote monitoring, issue resolution, and charger performance tracking.
  • Billing management: A configurable billing system that enables varied pricing structures and supports different customer and host site models.
  • Driver app and web portal: Tools that allow drivers to locate charging stations, initiate and manage sessions, and access charging history and billing details.

The partnership is intended to support operational efficiency and network management as XLR8 America expands its EV charging footprint across multiple commercial site types.
