As public agencies expand EV adoption for fleet operations and public charging access, procurement of charging infrastructure remains a key requirement. Verdek LLC announced it has been awarded Sourcewell (Contract No. 021825-VRK) for the sale, installation and servicing of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE).

The cooperative contract allows eligible public-sector and nonprofit organizations to purchase EV charging solutions through a competitively solicited agreement.
The contract covers dc fast chargers rated from 24 kW to more than 200 kW, including configurations designed for higher-power charging, as well as Level 2 ac chargers ranging from 7.7 to 19.2 kW.
Additionally, it includes related services, such as site surveys and feasibility studies, design and engineering, procurement support, utility coordination and incentives, installation, and ongoing operations, warranties and service level agreements.
Verdek and Sourcewell marked the contract award this month at a contract launch event at Sourcewell’s headquarters in Staples, Minnesota. Representatives from both organizations discussed contract implementation, adoption goals and near-term support for participating entities.
Sourcewell participating entities include public agencies across the United States and Canada, including government agencies, municipalities, higher education, K–12 education, nonprofit organizations and tribal entities.
Under 10 U.S.C. Section 2679, eligible US Department of Defense installations may also access Sourcewell cooperative purchasing agreements through intergovernmental support agreements. Verdek was selected through Sourcewell’s competitive RFP No. 021825 process, which received 86 proposals.
