Lincoln Electric has received product-level certification under NEMA’s Make It American program for its Velion dc fast-charging equipment.
The certification verifies domestic manufacturing and content requirements for the chargers, which Lincoln Electric says are produced in the US with more than 70% domestic content.
The designation can also help support compliance requirements for federally funded charging infrastructure projects.
Velion chargers use a modular architecture intended to simplify maintenance and repair while reducing downtime in fleet, commercial, and public charging applications.
The charging systems also incorporate cybersecurity and serviceability features intended to support long-term operation in infrastructure deployments.
Lincoln Electric says the certification applies across its Velion dc fast-charger line and reflects the company’s domestic engineering and manufacturing approach for EV charging equipment.
