Wallbox, a provider of electric vehicle (EV)charging and energy management solutions, has expanded its partnership with Codale Electric Supply, a Sonepar USA company, to support ac and dc fast charging deployment across Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada as EV adoption continues to grow in the Mountain West.
Over the past two years, Codale has worked with Wallbox as a distribution partner, providing contractors, developers and fleet operators with technical support, logistics and access to charging equipment.
Under the expanded agreement, Codale will focus on Wallbox Supernova dc fast chargers and Pulsar family ac chargers across its electrification programs. Deployment has begun, with Codale coordinating replacement of older charging systems and new installations at public, commercial and multifamily sites.
Early projects involve several charge point operators and large commercial portfolios that are beginning installation of Supernova units this quarter.
The partnership reflects the increasing demand for EV charging infrastructure in the region, where statewide electrification plans and transportation corridor initiatives are driving more installation activity. Wallbox and Codale are working to simplify deployment and support reliable charging access as the regional EV market grows.
The companies plan to continue building a model for EV infrastructure development that can be applied across additional markets.
