Streamlining EV fleet charging management

By Michelle Froese | February 17, 2026

Blink Charging announced a strategic collaboration with BetterFleet, a SaaS company focused on EV fleet charging management solutions.

The collaboration centers on integrating charging infrastructure with AI-driven fleet optimization software designed to support electrification in mission-critical fleet environments, including government, utilities, transit, and logistics operations.

BetterFleet’s platform uses digital twin modeling to simulate fleet vehicles, routes, and energy infrastructure. By modeling depot layouts, charging schedules, and grid constraints in advance, operators can evaluate vehicle selection, charger deployment strategies, and interconnection requirements before physical infrastructure is installed.

The system is intended to help fleets reduce grid upgrade requirements, optimize asset utilization, and improve operational resilience.

Digital depot configurations transition into live operational systems, enabling real-time charge management, energy allocation, and incident response. The software is designed to integrate with multiple EV and charging hardware platforms, including existing charging infrastructure already deployed in fleet applications.

The collaboration reflects a broader industry trend toward tighter integration between charging hardware and fleet energy management software, particularly as electrified fleets scale and grid capacity constraints become a larger factor in deployment timelines and total cost of ownership.
