Scalable EV charging for multifamily communities

By Michelle Froese | February 11, 2025

Parking Boss, a provider of residential parking management solutions, has partnered with Pando Electric to introduce an innovative electric vehicle (EV) charging solution designed specifically for multifamily communities and homeowners’ associations (HOAs).

With EV adoption increasing, property managers are under increasing pressure to provide charging solutions without overhauling existing infrastructure.

The Parking Boss + Pando Electric integration delivers a cost-effective alternative that makes EV charging accessible, easy to manage, and future-ready for multifamily properties.

The system uses AI-powered load balancing to distribute electricity efficiently, maximizing existing infrastructure and minimizing upfront costs. In some states, communities may even qualify for rebates, further reducing expenses.

Pando Electric’s high-power smart outlets eliminate costly installations and ongoing maintenance, reducing costs by up to 70% compared to traditional EV chargers.

Through Parking Boss, property managers can now easily assign, track, and regulate EV charging spaces. Using NFC-enabled Boss Tags, residents can start charging with a simple tap—eliminating complex setups and manual monitoring.

Features

  •  Increase property alue – Offer state-of-the-art EV charging to attract eco-conscious residents.
  • Reduce costs – Cut installation expenses by up to 70% while eliminating ongoing maintenance completely.
  • Enhance sustainability – Support green initiatives and meet local sustainability goals.
  • Simplify management – Easily assign and monitor EV charging spaces through Parking Boss’ all-in-one platform.
