It’s estimated that 50% of all passenger vehicles will be electric by 2030. Universal EV Chargers‘ aim is to lead the way, developing critically needed EV charging infrastructure to support the massive growth of electric vehicles in the United States.
The company’s goal is to launch in 2,500 locations across the state of Texas, making it the largest EV charging network in Texas. In November 2023, Universal EV Chargers was awarded NEVI grants to expedite sustainable EV charging infrastructure initiatives in Pennsylvania and Kentucky.
In December 2023, Universal EV Chargers’ trademark was officially registered with US patent offices.
The company’s EV charger options include:
- Level 2 Dual Port EV Chargers, which are ideal for hotels, shopping destinations, multi-family units, commercial fleets, and more. This EV charger has dual charging ports with an output of 11 kW per port and will charge EVs in four to five hours on average.
- Level 2 Single Port Compact EV Chargers, which are compatible with any electric vehicle, offer 11.2 kW Output Easy Pay through QR code, and have charge rate of four to six hours on average.
- Fast Chargers, which are compatible with any electric vehicle and offer optimal charge rates of 15 to 25 minutes on average.
Universal EV Chargers also launched software for charging stations last year, as it works to reshape the landscape of EV charging infrastructure.
