Renewable energy EV charging station launches in New York

By Michelle Froese | May 9, 2025

Zero 60, a national electric vehicle (EV) charge point operator (CPO) brand, has launched its first renewable energy charging station in Lake Placid, New York.

Founded by Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI), a provider of distributed energy and eMobility charging solutions, Zero 60 is committed to delivering sustainable, reliable, and accessible EV charging.

The company offers seamless EV charging at high-traffic locations, such as quick-service restaurants, hotels, and retail stores, many of which are nationally recognized brands. Every charge is powered by 100% renewable energy, either through purchasing renewable energy certificates or, when possible, via on-site renewable generation, helping EV drivers further their sustainability commitments.

Zero 60 provides a highly reliable and functional charging experience, offering an industry-leading 97% uptime to ensure seamless EV charging. As a newly launched CPO brand, Zero 60 partners with credible and trusted industry leaders, including Zero6 Energy, an experienced capital management investor, and FTI.

Zero 60 currently has four live charging sites and plans to install approximately 50 more across the US. The first wave of EV charging stations will be installed in New York, California, Colorado, and Wisconsin, with several other states on the list requesting Zero 60 EV chargers.
