Remote diagnostics platform simplifies EV charger service

By Michelle Froese | September 30, 2026

Alfen’s Eve Control platform allows operators to manage charging stations remotely through a web-based interface. The system is now being used across customer charging networks.

Eve Control provides remote access to charger configuration and diagnostic information.

Eve Control lets users adjust supported charger settings without sending a technician to the site. It also provides charger information and diagnostic tools that can help determine whether an issue involves configuration, firmware, or hardware.

Some problems can be resolved remotely through the platform. When an on-site visit is required, technicians can review diagnostic information beforehand and arrive with a better understanding of the issue.

The platform is designed to simplify service across charging networks with multiple locations. Remote access can reduce unnecessary site visits and shorten the time needed to restore a charger to normal operation.

Eve Control is available for Alfen charging equipment and brings remote configuration and service functions into one management environment.
