Proventia and Morrow Batteries have signed a master supply agreement for the long-term delivery of lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells. The cells will be used in Proventia’s battery modules and packs for off-highway machinery and electrified vehicle platforms.
The agreement covers prismatic LFP cells and allows for the inclusion of additional cell chemistries as they become commercially available.
Under the agreement, Morrow will supply LFP cells for Proventia’s standard and customer-specific battery packs designed for demanding operating environments. Deliveries are underway, and the contract extends through 2031.
The companies will continue joint simulation and pack-level optimization activities to support battery system performance, durability, and development efficiency.
Proventia stated that sourcing battery cells manufactured in Europe is increasingly important for customers and supports its electric powertrain and battery development programs.
Morrow noted that the agreement supports long-term industrial cooperation within Europe’s battery supply chain and provides secured offtake for its cell production.
Proventia expects to begin customer deliveries using Morrow’s cells in spring 2026. Morrow plans to increase production capacity in 2026 while maintaining focus on delivery reliability and process improvement.
