Partnership drives smarter EV charging for fleet operators

By Michelle Froese | February 24, 2025

Bluedot, an electric vehicle (EV) fleet management provider, announced its integration with the Geotab Marketplace and its membership in the Geotab Sustainability Alliance.

This partnership enables fleet operators to access Bluedot’s advanced EV charging solutions, including automated payments, charging activity tracking, and reimbursement capabilities, with the Geotab devices.

The Geotab Sustainability Alliance is an advanced initiative that supports fleet sustainability by providing comprehensive resources to ease the transition to EVs. Through partnerships with leaders across multiple sectors, the Alliance enables fleets to access specialized tools and services that make electrification accessible and practical.

By joining the Alliance, Bluedot contributes to an expanding network promoting sustainable fleet management through advanced technology and streamlined electrification processes.

Bluedot’s integration into the Geotab Marketplace connects its comprehensive EV charging management platform with Geotab’s extensive fleet network, allowing more fleet operators to streamline their transition to electric vehicles. Through this collaboration, Bluedot and Geotab aim to empower fleets with the tools to manage charging reimbursements, track charging activity, and simplify data analysis for public and home charging — all critical aspects for modernizing fleet electrification.

”Data insights are critical for making progress on safety, efficiency and sustainability goals. Geotab is excited to welcome Bluedot to the Geotab Marketplace, providing further options for customers to accelerate their transition to electric vehicles,” said Robin Kinsey, Associate Vice President, Geotab Marketplace.
