Driivz, a Vontier company, announced an integration with WEX to support billing for electric vehicle (EV) charging sessions using WEX payments at chargers managed through the Driivz platform.
EV fleet operators use the Driivz charging and energy management platform to manage charging operations, billing, and reporting across public, depot, and home charging. The platform also supports reimbursement workflows for take-home fleet vehicles.
Through the integration, drivers using the WEX DriverDash mobile app or WEX RFID card can charge at public charge points managed by Driivz. The connection uses the Open Charge Point Interface, or OCPI, to support standardized data exchange between the two platforms and simplify charging across participating networks.
WEX and Driivz completed their first integration at an EV charging hub in California serving light, medium, and heavy-duty fleet vehicles.
