New Tech Center in Mexico to support EV component manufacturing

Herrmann Ultrasonics has announced the official grand opening of its newest Tech Center and laboratory in Monterrey, Mexico, set for April 24, 2025.

A key player in manufacturing automotive parts, wire harnesses, and non-woven applications, Herrmann is expanding its global footprint to better support manufacturers in Mexico and beyond. The new facility will also include the manufacturing of electric vehicle components, reflecting the industry’s growing demand for advanced, localized production capabilities.

With over 60 years of pioneering German-designed ultrasonic technologies, this milestone marks a significant step in bringing the latest innovations closer to manufacturers and . The new Tech Center will provide more than 150 sq. meters to support the increased manufacturing in Mexico.

With over 60 years of expertise in German-engineered ultrasonic technology, the Tech Center will offer more than 150 square meters of space dedicated to application engineering and technical support.

This expansion enables Herrmann to deliver collaborative development of customized ultrasonic welding solutions, provide access to its latest HiQ series machines, and offer hands-on training for clients seeking to optimize production efficiency and process integration.

Features will include:

  • Application engineering: Collaborative development of customized solutions tailored to specific manufacturing needs. Herrmann Engineering worldwide has 42 ultrasonic laboratories in 20 countries.
  • Advanced equipment: Access to state-of-the-art ultrasonic welding machines, such as the HiQ series, which combine the flexibility of custom machines with the efficiency of series production. Features include guided tool changes, customizable components, and digital integration for enhanced usability.
  • Training and workshops: Hands-on sessions to educate clients on the latest ultrasonic welding technologies and best practices, ensuring optimal utilization of equipment and processes.
  • Technical support: Dedicated teams provide ongoing assistance, from initial application
    consulting to machine integration and optimization, ensuring seamless production workflows.

The Tech Center exemplify Herrmann Ultrasonics’ commitment to combining global expertise with local support, ensuring that clients receive tailored solutions and services to meet their specific requirements.
