New smart charging platform launches for EVs

By Michelle Froese | April 11, 2025

ELECQ, a global supplier of smart charging solutions for electric vehicles (EVs), has developed a comprehensive suite of EV charging solutions designed to improve EV infrastructure’s efficiency, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.

The line-up includes residential, commercial, and fast-charging systems supported by intelligent software and energy management tools.

  • ELECQ Home provides a residential charging solution with user-friendly installation, scalable architecture, and seamless home energy management systems compatibility. Key features include smart load management and remote diagnostics, supporting a safe and convenient charging experience.
  • ELECQ Biz is built for commercial environments, offering dynamic load management across networks of up to 500 chargers. Designed to optimize energy usage and reduce electricity costs by up to 30%, the system supports vehicle-to-grid (V2G) functionality and complies with ISO 15118-20, ISO 15118, and OCPP 2.0.1 for future-proof integration with evolving energy systems.
  • ELECQ Station 60 delivers flexible fast charging through its zero granularity technology, enabling 100% efficient energy distribution and adaptive power sharing. The system supports simultaneous vehicle charging with standalone and cross-station load balancing, making it suitable for diverse use cases and deployment models.
  • ELECQ Ready simplifies installation with a pre-mounted backplate that significantly reduces setup time and cost. Additionally, the ELECQ Power Monitor provides real-time energy tracking to help manage consumption and avoid system overloads, particularly in residential or mixed-use environments.

Beyond hardware, ELECQ offers a suite of digital tools that enable smart charging and system-wide energy optimization. The ELECQ App, ELECQ Partner App, and ELECQ Cloud platform provide real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics, and customizable energy management capabilities.

Smart charging plans automatically adjust based on electricity rates and user behavior, improving efficiency and reducing operational costs. These software tools also support V2G functionality and integration with renewable energy sources to help operators and energy providers meet sustainability goals.

ELECQ’s integrated approach positions it as a key enabler of smart, scalable charging infrastructure for homes, businesses, and fleets.
