Inmotion Technologies, a ZAPI GROUP company, will showcase new power electronics at the iVT Expo in Cologne aimed at supporting the electrification of industrial, commercial, and utility vehicles. The company is introducing two new components: the DCC3 dc/dc converter and the ACH3 inverter.
The DCC3 is designed to provide auxiliary power by converting high-voltage battery inputs (250 to 900 V) into stable 12 or 24-V outputs, delivering up to 10 kW for vehicle subsystems. This allows electric and hybrid machines to power critical auxiliary systems without relying on traditional internal combustion setups.
The unit’s compact design and cybersecurity features also make it suited for a wide range of industrial and off-highway applications.
The ACH3 inverter is the third generation of high-voltage inverters developed by Inmotion Technologies. It supports bus voltages up to 900 V. It offers peak efficiencies up to 99%, with current ratings ranging from 30 to over 600 A. Used for converting dc energy from a battery to the ac power needed by electric motors, the ACH3 is built to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements in demanding vehicle environments.
The design also considers lifecycle sustainability and European sourcing.
In addition to these new systems, Inmotion Technologies will also feature other components from its electrification portfolio at the event, including onboard and offboard chargers, electric motors, and ePTO and fleet management systems.
These technologies reflect the ongoing shift in heavy-duty and specialized vehicle markets toward fully electric and hybrid architectures, addressing the operational and environmental challenges of next-generation vehicle design.
