Sasken Technologies, a global provider of product engineering and digital transformation services, has entered a strategic partnership with VicOne, a subsidiary of Trend Micro focused on automotive cybersecurity.
The collaboration aims to strengthen in-vehicle and fleet-wide cybersecurity for OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, with a particular focus on e-mobility ecosystems.
VicOne delivers end-to-end cybersecurity platforms, including xCarbon (intrusion detection and prevention), vSOC (fleet monitoring and response), and EVSE Security (protection for EV charging infrastructure). These solutions are designed to secure connected vehicles and EV charging networks, providing fleet-scale visibility and threat intelligence.
Sasken brings over three decades of expertise in engineering, validation, and system integration. Through this partnership, Sasken will integrate and operationalize VicOne’s technologies across ECUs, operating systems, cloud systems, and EV charging points, supporting hardened infrastructure, faster investigations, and audit-ready compliance.
The collaboration also involves training Sasken engineers on VicOne’s platforms to expand advanced integration capabilities for automotive and EV manufacturers.
With connected vehicles and EV charging infrastructure facing growing cybersecurity risks, the Sasken–VicOne partnership establishes a scalable framework to help safeguard vehicles, ensure compliance, and strengthen resilience across the global EV market.
