TERREPOWER has launched electric vehicle (EV) battery lifecycle services under its Ontility brand, expanding its focus on battery reuse, remanufacturing, repurposing, and recycling across North America and Europe.
The program is intended to extend the usable life of EV battery systems by evaluating batteries for continued vehicle use before moving them into second-life or recycling pathways.
TERREPOWER says the approach is designed to reduce unnecessary battery replacement while preserving usable cells, modules, and materials.
Ontility will provide validated, warranty-backed battery systems for out-of-warranty EVs, along with installation-ready battery solutions intended to simplify replacement and service. The company is also expanding battery lifecycle support for OEMs, fleets, aftermarket partners, and other organizations managing aging EV battery inventories.
TERREPOWER says its remanufacturing processes are intended to return suitable batteries to vehicle service when possible. Batteries that are no longer appropriate for automotive use can instead be evaluated for repurposing into second-life applications or directed to recycling and material recovery.
The expansion reflects growing demand for battery testing, remanufacturing, and end-of-life management as more EVs move beyond their original warranty periods. TERREPOWER is positioning Ontility to support battery recovery and validation through remanufacturing, second-life use, and eventual recycling.
The company says North America will be a primary market for the program, supported by EV adoption and investment in domestic battery manufacturing. Ontility will also expand its battery lifecycle operations in Europe as the number of EV batteries reaching the end of their first automotive life increases.
