Suncoast Charging Corporation announcesd the official launch of its first electric vehicle (EV) dc fast charging station in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. The site is now open to the public and marks the start of the company’s planned network buildout for 2026 and beyond.
The station supports up to eight vehicles simultaneously and features dc fast chargers capable of delivering up to 325 kW. This deployment expands access to high-power EV charging infrastructure at destination-oriented sites.
Suncoast Charging is partnering with Center Connect Development on its first two fast-charging locations. The initial site is located at the Hub at Bexley in Land O’ Lakes, Florida, with a second site planned at the Hub at Lexington Oaks in Wesley Chapel, Florida, targeted for opening in Q1 2026.
Both locations were selected for their ability to support high utilization and provide drivers with access to surrounding amenities.
At the Hub at Bexley, EV drivers can access dining, retail, weekly live music, monthly markets featuring local vendors, and community events. These hubs are positioned to serve local communities and travelers along nearby corridors.
The Hub at Bexley station includes eight Tesla V4 Canvas Superchargers, each capable of delivering up to 325 kW. The station supports multiple payment pathways and all major EV makes and models, with access through the Tesla app or other charging applications. The site is open to the public 24 hours a day.
The company plans to develop approximately 20 additional stations in 2026 as part of a broader strategy to build out a reliable regional charging network across Florida and neighboring areas.
Community partnerships
As part of its community and environmental initiatives, Suncoast Charging is partnering with 5801 Print House, a local design and print business, to create custom charger artwork featuring wildlife native to each station’s location. The company is also working with regional environmental and preservation groups to support habitat protection and promote environmental awareness across Florida.
The Land O’ Lakes location is the first charging site in North America to operate under Tesla’s new Supercharger for Business program. The deployment provides an early example of how destination-focused charging sites can integrate high-power equipment into public-access networks.
The company also announces David Patrick as one of its founders. Patrick has extensive experience in EV charging infrastructure deployment and energy projects and will oversee network development and construction. Joining him as co-founder is Wesley Sima, who brings experience in finance, capital markets, and the growth of clean-energy businesses.
