Forsee Power, a supplier of battery systems for commercial and industrial electric vehicles (EVs), has introduced the GO 6, a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery designed for compact agricultural, industrial, and construction equipment, including lightweight electric four-wheel vehicles.
The GO 6 is a compact and modular LFP battery pack offering a high-energy density of over 200 Wh/L and a weight of 45 kg. It delivers up to 10 kW of power per pack, equivalent to more than 200 A DC, targeting the electrification needs of smaller and space-constrained electric platforms.
Designed for flexibility, the GO 6 supports 48-V parallel connections without requiring external housing and can be scaled from 6 to 48 kWh. Its form factor allows for flat and side installation, enabling integration into various vehicle types and industrial applications with tight space limitations.
Built with high-performance LFP cells, the battery offers more than 4,000 cycles of life, combining long-term durability with cost efficiency for electric vehicle manufacturers and operators.
The integrated battery management system (BMS) includes a pre-charge function and internal power supply, eliminating the need for auxiliary systems. Algorithms for monitoring state-of-health and dynamic state-of-charge enable accurate performance assessment. A cell-powered heating option is also available for use in low-temperature environments.
GO 6 is certified to UN 38.3, R136, and R10.6 standards and carries an IP67 protection rating, compliant with ISO 20653. These certifications support its use in demanding operating conditions requiring high levels of safety and environmental resistance.
