By Michelle Froese | April 28, 2025

Kempower, a North American electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider, is introducing its new fast-charging solution during this week’s Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo in Anaheim, CA. The company is providing a first look at its new Control Unit, a flexible charging system supporting various charging needs.

Intended for fleet charging applications, the Kempower Control Unit features a CCS1 connector, allowing for versatility for depot and off-highway dc fast charging. This addition to the lineup expands Kempower’s ability to offer scalable, durable, and user-friendly solutions for everyone, everywhere.

With a maximum charging power of 240 kW and Adaptive Voltage, the Kempower Control Unit supports a wide range of vehicle types, allowing light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles to use the same charging system. It can also be paired with Kempower Satellites on the same centralized Power Unit to provide maximum flexibility for various applications.

Features:

  • Compact: The Kempower Control Unit is a robust charging solution that accommodates tight spaces, including mounting overhead
  • Flexible: With cables reaching up to 262 ft./80m away from the Power Unit, the Control Unit is a flexible and accessible solution.
  • Advanced: The Kempower Control Unit consists of advanced technology, allowing for more control and customization with Kempower ChargEye.
