New EV chargers added to CALeVIP list

By Michelle Froese | March 4, 2025

BTC POWER, a provider of EV charging solutions, announced that their chargers are now officially listed on the California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP) Eligible Equipment List. This milestone strengthens BTC POWER’s position as a player in accelerating the adoption of EV infrastructure across California.

CALeVIP, funded by the California Energy Commission (CEC) and administered by the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE), supports the expansion of publicly accessible EV charging infrastructure by providing rebates and incentives for businesses and property owners to install publicly accessible electric vehicle chargers.

This program prioritizes high-traffic areas, underserved communities, and regions with significant EV adoption goals. The initiative and funding will help local businesses and property owners reduce installation costs. With BTC POWER’s inclusion on the Eligible Equipment List, customers can now access rebates and funding support for deploying BTC POWER’s charging solutions.

BTC POWER’s Gen 4 chargers meet the highest industry standards, including the latest OCPP 2.0.1 compliance, ensuring seamless interoperability with various network providers. This compliance enhances communication between chargers and backend systems, optimizing performance, security, and user experience.

As a manufacturer of Level 2 and dc fast chargers, BTC POWER remains dedicated to driving innovation and supporting funding initiatives for sustainable transportation. The company’s participation in CALeVIP underscores its mission to provide smart, scalable, and reliable EV charging solutions that align with California’s aggressive electrification goals.

BTC POWER will be in attendance of California Energy Commission’s webinar, March 26th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. PDT.
