XCharge North America (XCharge NA), the North American subsidiary of XCHG Limited, announced that Cellerate Power has selected its electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging and battery-integrated equipment for what is planned to be Vermont’s fastest public charging site.
The project is intended to support growing EV adoption in the state by adding higher power charging capacity in a rural corridor.
XCharge NA C7 ultra-fast chargers will provide up to 400-kW charging power, a higher output than other nearby public stations and around two to three times the power level of many existing fast chargers.
With NACS and CCS connectors available, the site is designed to serve most EV models currently on the road. The nearest alternative site, about 30 minutes away, offers 150-kW charging for CCS-equipped vehicles.
The C7 units include 21.5 inch screens that Cellerate Power plans to use for driver information and local content. The partners state that the site is intended to improve the charging experience, support local businesses and contribute to Vermont’s plans to increase EV use.
The site, operated by Cellerate Power in Winhall, VT, opened to the public in late October 2025.
