Edge Energy has announced a collaborative electric vehicle (EV) charging solution with Lincoln Electric, designed to deliver fast and reliable charging in locations without access to three-phase power.
The system combines Edge Energy’s solid-state digital phase conversion technology with Lincoln Electric’s Velion 50-kW dc fast chargers and dc America’s charging platform to provide high-performance fast charging through a single-phase connection.
The modular design supports output up to 100 kW, offering businesses, municipalities, and fleet operators a scalable option as electric vehicle adoption increases.
The platform’s simplified installation process is intended to reduce infrastructure costs and deployment time.
The single-phase 100-kW charging platform features a compact, adaptable configuration suitable for commercial, industrial, and public charging environments.
Deployments of the Edge Energy charging skid are planned to begin in Q4 2025.
