NeutronX and NextNRG partner on EV charging for federal sites

By Puja Mitra | March 3, 2026

NeutronX Corporation and NextNRG, Inc. announced an exclusive definitive cooperation agreement focused on e-mobility for federal and defense sites. A binding two-year agreement designates NextNRG as the exclusive technology and execution partner for government contracts secured by NeutronX.

The partnership targets federal energy infrastructure projects at military installations, critical facilities and government properties nationwide, with an emphasis on electric vehicle (EV) charging support through microgrids, battery storage and wireless charging.

NeutronX brings federal procurement experience and AI capabilities. NextNRG will serve as lead contractor for technical execution, including AI-optimized microgrids, battery storage, wireless EV charging, solar installations and mobile fueling.

The collaboration also covers intelligent grid systems, critical infrastructure protection, operational intelligence and cybersecurity. NeutronX’s AI is expected to integrate with NextNRG’s systems for predictive maintenance, threat detection and performance optimization.

“Military leaders and tech titans have joined forces to bring solutions to America’s critical energy needs,” said Lorna Ceaser, chief operating officer of NeutronX. “This partnership deploys advanced AI and energy technologies to support critical infrastructure, strengthening the foundation of US national security.”

NeutronX will serve as prime contractor. Both companies will retain their respective technologies.
