Mark your calendars: 2025 Zero Prototypes Summit to be held live and online

By Michelle Froese | April 21, 2025

VI-grade, a global provider of human-centric, simulation-driven vehicle development solutions, announced the final agenda for the 2025 ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit, to be held May 13th to 15th, 2025, at the VI-grade SimCenter in Udine, Italy.

This annual event brings together the top voices from the automotive industry to explore how simulation accelerates vehicle development and reduces reliance on physical prototypes.

This year’s program strongly emphasizes electric vehicle (EV) development, with more than 20 confirmed speakers from OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and technology partners, including Ferrari, Ford Werke, Volvo Cars, Stellantis, Porsche Engineering, CATL, Alpine, Aston Martin Lagonda, Bridgestone EMIA, and Honda R&D.

Key EV-focused presentations include:

  • Ford’s Development Group (Cologne, Germany) will present how the VI-grade NVH Desktop Simulator and software were used to refine sound quality in the electric Ford Puma Gen E.

  • HBK nCode will demonstrate how combining virtual and physical testing for EV battery systems can reduce warranty risk and accelerate the delivery of reliable, sustainable technology.

Event highlights:

  • A live panel discussion on “The Role of AI and Machine Learning in Shaping the Future of Car Technology,” exploring how software-defined vehicles and ADAS are transforming automotive design workflows.

  • Hands-on demos across 12 stations featuring VI-grade’s DiM dynamic simulators, AutoHawk XiL platform, and the latest Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) technologies.

  • Complimentary software training for VI-CarRealTime, VI-WorldSim, VI-NVHSim, VI-Driver, VI-DriveSim, and SIMulation Workbench.

  • Interactive user group meetings focusing on NVH and driving simulation, encouraging direct exchange between customers and product teams.

For those unable to attend the event in person, all presentations will be streamed live on LinkedIn. The livestream is divided into four individual sessions, each of which requires separate registration. Online attendance is free of charge, and registration is via LinkedIn.

VI-grade is collaborating with ATZ, Automotive Testing Technology International, Vehicle Dynamics International, and SAE Media Group as official media partners, extending the reach of the event to the global automotive engineering community.

Registration for the 2025 ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit is open at this link.
