SINEXCEL recently announced a manufacturing partnership with SMTC Corporation, a US-based electronics manufacturing services provider.
The agreement establishes a North American production base for SINEXCEL’s electric vehicle (EV) chargers in compliance with the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act.
Under the partnership, SINEXCEL will localize production of its EV charger portfolio at SMTC’s Fremont and Bay Area facilities. SMTC will provide printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), system integration, and box-build services, supported by ISO 9001 and AS9100 certifications.
The collaboration aims to strengthen supply chain resilience, reduce lead times, and support customers across the US market.
By establishing US-based manufacturing, SINEXCEL strengthens its North American presence while supporting domestic supply chain goals and the broader energy transition toward electrified transportation.
“This collaboration reflects SMTC’s ability to provide scalable manufacturing and engineering support that meets the quality and reliability expectations of the US EV industry,” said Josh Chien, chief commercial officer at SMTC.
