LFP and NCM battery modules for EV applications

By Michelle Froese | December 17, 2024

Cylindrical LFP Module

Accu-Power offers a range of lithium-ion battery modules designed to meet the growing demands of electric vehicle (EV) and e-mobility applications.

The product line includes cylindrical and prismatic Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) modules, as well as prismatic Nickel-Cobalt-Manganese (NCM) modules — each engineered for optimal performance, safety, and efficiency in EV systems.

Cylindrical LFP Battery Module — offers high-energy density and durability for EV applications. With a 25.6 to 51.2 V voltage range, these modules deliver consistent power and reliability while maintaining a long cycle life. Known for their safety and thermal stability, LFP chemistries are ideal for EV systems requiring operational efficiency and reduced fire risks.

Prismatic LFP Module

Prismatic LFP Battery Module — features a compact design and is available in voltage configurations ranging from 3.2 to 51.2 V. These modules provide high power output, excellent thermal performance, and a long lifespan, making them well-suited for EV drivetrains, auxiliary systems, and other e-mobility applications.

Their modularity enables flexible integration into various vehicle architectures, supporting scalability for different power requirements.

Prismatic NCM Battery Module — designed for applications requiring higher energy density and increased range. Available in voltage ranges up to 57.6 V, the NCM chemistry delivers energy capacity without compromising performance, making them suitable for EVs requiring long-distance operation and fast charging capabilities.
