Kempower, a global manufacturer of dc fast-charging solutions, has been awarded multiple new sites through its partnership with PowerUp America, advancing its presence in North America.
The new public charging site installations, located across the Southeast, align with the goals of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program and related initiatives supporting clean transportation.
The new PowerUp orders were received in the third quarter and are included in Kempower’s Q3 2025 Interim Report.
As part of the NEVI program, the awarded sites — five in Tennessee, two in Virginia, and one in development in Kentucky — will meet Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliance requirements. Kempower’s investment in US operations supports these standards and contributes to domestic job creation and regional economic development.
PowerUp America continues to expand its EV infrastructure network across the Southeast with a focus on reliability, safety, and community engagement. With Kempower’s US headquarters based in North Carolina, the partnership strengthens companies’ shared commitment to local manufacturing and the growth of accessible, high-power charging infrastructure.
Kempower’s collaboration with PowerUp represents one of its most significant North American projects to date, expanding access to fast-charging technology across a key region for EV adoption.
