Schneider Electric, a provider of energy management and industrial automation, has launched Schneider Charge Pro in Europe — an energy-efficient electric vehicle (EV) charging solution to accelerate EV adoption among owners of commercial fleets and multifamily residences.
With the EU’s Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) requiring upgrades to EV charging infrastructure by 2027, Schneider Charge Pro addresses critical barriers in a fragmented market by offering a comprehensive, affordable, and streamlined e-mobility solution.
More than just a charging station, Schneider Charge Pro is a fully integrated, turnkey system that simplifies the EV charging process. It enables Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and building owners to retrofit or establish charging facilities easily. Its open software system efficiently tracks charging sessions, allowing CPOs to reimburse fleet operators charging at home, while its electrician-friendly design ensures a straightforward installation process.
To enhance access to EV charging, Schneider has also introduced two complementary solutions. The EVCE MFH, tailored for multifamily residences, dynamically manages power loads in real-time, supporting high-volume charging without overloading the building’s power supply. This system is further enhanced by a new cloud-based remote monitoring tool, enabling pre-commissioning offsite and faster onsite commissioning via a simple mobile app.
Schneider Charge Pro is currently available in France and Hong Kong, with plans to expand to additional countries throughout the year.
