i-charging achieves ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications

By Michelle Froese | December 26, 2023

i-charging, a company specializing in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has achieved ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications to demonstrate its commitment to environmental sustainability and occupational health and safety.

These certifications complement i-charging’s existing ISO 9001:2015 certification and reflect a commitment to quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

ISO 14001, the internationally recognized standard for environmental management systems, is awarded to organizations that implement sustainable practices, reduce their environmental footprint, and continuously improve their environmental performance.

ISO 45001 is the global standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It demonstrates a commitment to providing a safe and healthy working environment for company employees and partners, preventing workplace accidents, and complying with legal and regulatory requirements.

“Achieving ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality, safety and sustainability,” says Pedro Moreira da Silva, CEO of i-charging. “These certifications exemplify our dedication to environmental responsibility and the well-being of our employees and stakeholders. We believe that this milestone will strengthen our position as a reference company in the e-mobility sector.”

With these certifications, i-charging has demonstrated its commitment to adhering to the highest international standards and ensuring that its products and operations have a positive impact on the environment and people. The ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications reaffirm i-charging’s position in the EV charging ecosystem, driving progress towards a cleaner and greener future for all.
