Driivz, a Vontier company and global software provider for electric vehicle (EV) charging management, has partnered with Berlin-based roaming platform ENAPI to deliver seamless, scalable charging across networks and borders.
The collaboration begins in Europe, but both companies plan to extend roaming to North America and the Asia-Pacific region, supporting the shift toward standardized, driver-friendly charging in these areas.
The integration connects the Driivz Smart EV Charging and Energy Management platform with ENAPI’s OCPI-based roaming broker, instantly linking Driivz customers to ENAPI’s network of more than 350,000 charge points through eight of Europe’s top 10 e-mobility service providers (eMSPs).
EV drivers gain access to multiple networks with a single payment account, addressing one of the biggest pain points in Europe and North America, which is fragmented charging experiences. For charge point operators (CPOs) and eMSPs, the partnership reduces the need for dozens of bilateral roaming agreements, streamlining integration while accelerating time to market. Grid stakeholders also benefit from improved data transparency and more consistent load behavior across networks.
Following the European rollout, Driivz and ENAPI will extend roaming connectivity to North America, where adoption of ISO 15118 Plug & Charge standards is gaining momentum alongside the transition to the North American Charging Standard (NACS).
Proven OCPI roaming practices from Europe could play a critical role in reducing market fragmentation and supporting a more reliable charging ecosystem for North American drivers. This partnership builds on Driivz’s history as an early adopter of OCPI and its collaborations with roaming providers including Hubject and GIREVE, reinforcing a commitment to interoperability, scalability, and open connectivity in EV charging worldwide.
