Motorq and Volvo Cars announced a partnership to provide fleets and dealerships in the US and Europe with direct access to real-time embedded vehicle data. The integration reflects an industry shift away from aftermarket telematics hardware toward intelligence delivered directly from the vehicle.
Access to up-to-date data is increasingly important as fleets incorporate more electric vehicles (EVs). EV operations depend on accurate information about battery health, charging behavior, energy use, and predicted maintenance needs.
By using embedded connectivity rather than external devices, fleets can monitor these factors without installation delays or additional hardware.
Through this partnership, Volvo Cars’ embedded data streams into Motorq’s Connected Vehicle Intelligence platform, where AI models process diagnostics, battery metrics, charging patterns, driver behavior signals, and maintenance indicators. Fleets and dealerships can use these insights to manage charging workflows, reduce downtime, and support long-term vehicle performance.
“Embedded connectivity with AI processing represents the next phase of mobility,” said Arun Rajagopalan, CEO and Co-Founder of Motorq. “This partnership enables data-driven programs that improve operational planning, including EV charging optimization and early issue detection.”
The integration is now live. Fleets and dealerships can access these data services through Motorq’s software portal, APIs, and integration tools.
