EVgo expands retail fast-charging network

By Michelle Froese | September 11, 2026

EVgo and Regency Centers are expanding their electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging partnership with plans to add more than 400 charging stalls at retail properties across the United States.

Each new site will feature up to 24 high-power chargers. EVgo has previously deployed 350-kW fast chargers at Regency properties, adding a stronger technical angle to the expansion.

Depending on the vehicle, the company says charging can take as little as 15 minutes.

The larger installations also point to the growing electrical requirements of public fast-charging sites, particularly as operators add more high-power dispensers at a single location.

The additional stalls are planned for Regency properties in Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and other states.
