LAZ Parking has made an investment in Epic Charging, an EV charging software provider, to expand Level 2 EV charging access across its parking locations in the US and Canada. The companies plan to deploy 50,000 Level 2 charging stations across LAZ’s properties.

Epic’s Charge Point Management System is designed to integrate with LAZ’s parking platform and support charger monitoring, predictive maintenance, payments and analytics.

Epic will use the investment to accelerate development of Charge OptimAIzer, an AI-based energy management system intended to coordinate charging using real-time data from vehicle telematics, charger telemetry, and utility pricing signals.
The rollout is expected to include hotels, commercial, and mixed-use properties, surface lots, airports, and municipal parking operations.
