Electrify America said it has received ISO 9001:2015 certification from Intertek for its quality management system covering the development, deployment and operation of its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure network.
The certification scope includes operations and maintenance, customer service, network systems, product and program management, engineering and processes for developing, validating and monitoring hardware and software or firmware.
ISO 9001:2015 is an international quality management standard awarded to organizations that demonstrate defined quality management practices and undergo periodic audits and reviews.
Electrify America said its charging network includes more than 1,000 charging stations and more than 5,000 chargers across 47 US states and Washington, DC.
