Distributed and all-in-one 600-kW chargers launched for EV networks

By Michelle Froese | September 16, 2025

Tellus Power has announced two new 600-kW dc fast charging systems: a distributed architecture and an all-in-one unit. Both are designed to support the growing demand for ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in fleet operations and public charging networks.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) projects EVs will account for more than 40% of global vehicle sales by 2030, underscoring the need for high-power, adaptable charging systems.

Tellus Power’s new designs are intended to provide operators with greater deployment flexibility, dynamic load management, and compatibility with emerging vehicle platforms.

The distributed system connects up to eight dispensers to a single 600-kW power cabinet. Power is allocated dynamically based on the number of vehicles charging and their individual requirements, helping maximize use and reduce idle infrastructure.

The all-in-one unit provides up to 600-kW through one or two connectors, supporting high-throughput sites with limited space. It includes a 32-inch digital screen for site operators to use for information or advertising.

Both systems support 800-volt architectures and are compatible with NACS, CCS1, and CCS2 standards, making them suitable for a range of passenger and commercial EVs.
