Challenge accepted: Deploying 30,000 EV chargers across the US by 2027

By Michelle Froese | November 27, 2024

In response to the growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, XLR8 America has announced the ambitious goal of installing 30,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging ports across the United States by 2027.

This initiative aims to expand EV infrastructure nationwide, focusing on commercial real estate and multi-unit dwelling parking lots, specialized EVSE applications, and underserved areas.

To ensure success, XLR8 America is collaborating with EV technology, energy management, and power distribution companies to transform the EV charging landscape for a variety of customers — including truck stops, logistics centers, commercial real estate, and public sector projects.

XLR8 is currently partnering with Atom Power, DG Matrix, Kennedy Power Systems, EVoke Systems, Mavericks Microgrids, and others. XLR8 America is working

By incorporating XLR8 America’s deployment strategies, Atom Power’s Level 2 chargers with solid-state circuit breaker technology, EVoke Systems’ scalable software, and Kennedy Power Systems’ prefabricated power distribution units, installations become faster, more cost-effective, and less disruptive to worksites.

XLR8 aims to leverage its partnerships to incorporate advanced energy management and renewable power sources into its charging solutions. This approach promotes efficient energy use, supports sustainability efforts, and helps businesses align their EV infrastructure with green energy goals while reducing reliance on the grid.

“Educating customers in a non-technical way about EV charging infrastructure is essential to driving adoption and successful implementation,” said Haroon Inam, CEO of DG Matrix. “XLR8 America provides a comprehensive, step-by-step method that demystifies the process, empowering businesses to make informed decisions.”
