Custom solutions to complex battery challenges

By Michelle Froese | September 16, 2025

JBC Technologies, a custom fabricator of specialized die-cut components, will be at The Battery Show 2025 from October 6-9 at Huntington Place in Detroit, Michigan. Show attendees are invited to stop by Booth 2816 to explore how JBC can work with you to convert your product design concepts into reality.

The team will be on hand to discuss the critical challenges facing battery manufacturers today, and how JBC provides solutions to those challenges using custom-fabricated seals, gaskets, compression pads, cell separators, protective films, cushions, insulators, and more.

For electric vehicle and energy storage developers striving for reliable performance and seamless production, a partnership with JBC Technologies goes beyond supplying die-cut components.

The company’s in-house engineering team collaborates directly with your R&D and design teams from the earliest stages, providing crucial Design for Manufacturability (DFM) insights that optimize designs for precision, reliability, and efficient mass production.

A strategic partnership ensures that a vision translates flawlessly from concept to scalable reality, reducing technical risks, accelerating NPI timelines, and securing a consistent, high-quality supply chain for the most critical die-cut parts.

Examples of custom products JBC makes for the battery and energy storage industries that they will be highlighting at the show include:

  • Cell separators
  • Compression pads
  • Pack and module insulation
  • Enclosure seals
  • Gaskets
  • Attachment tapes
  • Electrical insulation
  • Protective films
  • Venting tapes

JBC will also be highlighting new thermal and electrical management materials from key industry suppliers in the battery space. And, as a bonus, attendees who stop by the booth will get to test their putting prowess with a mini-golf competition for the chance of winning a special prize.
