CharIN Academy advances EV charging education and training

By Michelle Froese | January 8, 2026

Charging Interface Initiative e.V. (CharIN), a global association dedicated to advancing charging standards and interoperability, offers an educational initiative through CharIN Academy that provides practice-oriented training on e-mobility and electric vehicle (EV) charging topics.

CharIN Academy supports the global transition to emission-free mobility by delivering industry-focused education designed to enable the entire EV charging ecosystem. The Academy’s programs address a wide range of experience levels, offering structured learning that emphasizes real-world application, standards alignment, and technical consistency across global markets.

Training courses are led by experienced instructors who are recognized experts in their respective fields. Sessions are designed to be pragmatic and interactive, equipping participants with applicable knowledge related to EVs, electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), and charging system development, testing, and deployment.

As part of its continuously evolving global training portfolio, CharIN Academy offers a range of courses designed to support standards-based deployment of EV charging infrastructure.

One example is How to Use the CharIN CCS Implementation Guide, which provides detailed guidance on a key industry resource that supports the consistent and reliable application of Combined Charging System (CCS) standards. The CharIN CCS Implementation Guide serves as a global reference for interoperability and performance, helping organizations reduce integration risk and improve system reliability across regions and use cases.

Through its expanding educational offerings, CharIN Academy continues to strengthen technical understanding across the EV charging industry and support the standards-based deployment of interoperable charging infrastructure worldwide.
