ChargePoint announced new electric vehicle (EV) charging installations supporting electric rental fleets and local drivers at Midwestern Wheels locations in Appleton and Madison, Wisconsin.
The deployment addresses EV charging needs for rental car operations and public use as EV adoption continues to increase across the region.
The sites include a mix of ChargePoint ac and dc chargers to support different charging speeds and use cases. Several stations use ChargePoint Omni Port, which allows vehicles with different charging connectors to use the same charger without adapters.
The chargers are managed through the ChargePoint Platform, which provides remote monitoring, real-time status visibility, and operational control to help maintain uptime and manage usage.
Charging locations and availability can be accessed through the ChargePoint mobile app.
