AUTOCRYPT, an end-to-end automotive cybersecurity solution provider, announced plans to focus in 2026 on establishing a comprehensive cybersecurity framework across the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa), covering both vehicle manufacturing and EV charging infrastructure.
The initiative will draw on the company’s cybersecurity technologies for connected mobility, including its Key Management System (KMS), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Charging Station Management System (CSMS).
These systems support secure communication, authentication, and data exchange across EVs, chargers, and backend networks, areas of growing importance as regional charging deployments accelerate.
The MENA region is expanding its investments in intelligent mobility and digital infrastructure, with several countries developing national EV programs and high-power charging networks. Establishing a unified cybersecurity framework is increasingly relevant for engineers working on EV platforms, charging interoperability, and grid-connected systems.
Lessons learned from this regional deployment could ultimately inform future EV cybersecurity and charging-security approaches in North America as global standards continue to converge.
AUTOCRYPT plans to demonstrate its EV cybersecurity and infrastructure technologies at the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, scheduled for January 6–9.
