AI operations as a service expands for EV charging networks

By Michelle Froese | June 18, 2025

AMPECO, an electric vehicle (EV) charging management platform provider, and Amp Assist, a developer of AI-powered operations management tools, have launched a strategic partnership to provide AI Operations as a Service to charge point operators (CPOs).

Announced at EVS38, a global EV symposium, the partnership aims to address the growing operational complexity of EV charging networks.

As charging infrastructure scales, both companies will collaborate to integrate automation and real-time support tools that enable CPOs to manage their networks more efficiently.

The collaboration brings together AMPECO’s platform architecture, which includes APIs, real-time monitoring, and data management features, with Amp Assist’s AI systems designed for 24/7 monitoring, issue detection, and driver support.

The integration enables CPOs to automate key tasks, reduce operational downtime, and access tools for performance analysis and network optimization.

Amp Assist’s AI platform offers services including automated fault resolution and customer support through AI-driven interfaces. As part of the ongoing partnership, new features such as WhatsApp integration for driver communication will also be demonstrated.

AMPECO and Amp Assist aim to offer a flexible operations framework that improves service availability, simplifies network scaling, and reduces the need for manual interventions in EV charging management.
